Background - the postings found within these pages (340 messages) were collected from 1998 to 2000. Most, if not all of the email addresses have been 'disabled' to prevent SPAM hunters from using the email addresses... It is quite possible the I have introduced errors during the re-formatting process of these messages. Errors might include just about anything including: spelling, English (or other) grammar, mangled mail headers, mis-attribution of message 'participants' (due to some aggressive filtering of these messages), etc. Most of these messages were collected from the Classical Guitar List (also known as the 'eskimo list' at the time, as of 2005 the listed is hosted at Yahoo.Com).  I consider this a 'work in progress' so check back from time to time for additions and enhancements...

The messages are presented with the cooperation of the author of the postings, Angelo Gilardino. Maestro Gilardino continues to share his insight and knowledge through postings to email lists, web sites, and with personal emails to many around the globe. We are indeed fortunate to have him in 'the classical guitar corner' as a champion presenting his views, compositions, and editorial works.

Maestro Gilardino has contributed numerous original compositions to the classical guitar  repertoire as well as editing hundreds of works for the guitar (20th century as well as older works.)  He continues to provide technical and musical instruction and guidance to numerous students and performers throughout the world.  We are fortunate, indeed, to have him in our 'corner'.  Even though retired, he continues to help guitarists and others around the world.  I have documented his work with the Segovia Foundation here.
