It is very easy, Eva. The notes on the upper staff are harmonics to be
played with r.h.: the index prepares the string division and the ringfinger
plucks the string; the notes on the lower staff are thus to be produced only
with l.h.: the first note of each couple with hammering the string, the
second one with a slur. It is a matter of studying a bit the rhytmic
coordination between the two hands (usually ten minutes of practice are
enough to get familiar with this technique). The sound should be graceful,
tender and remote.
