Italian composer/guitarist, 1770-1841
There are a number of prolific composers from this era. Many of them studied and lived in Italy, France and elsewhere in Europe. The studies and methods by these composers is quite good material for developing basic fingerboard skills as well as sight reading skills. The harmonies tend to be quite basic so elementary musical theory and analysis of this music is also helpful.
